What is Ventral Hernia?

Ventral Hernia occurs when an abdominal tissue or an organ pushes through a weak spot in the abdomen to protrude through a cavity muscle area. This forms a bulge in the belly area. Ventral Hernia can be seen at the site of previous abdominal procedure, navel and groin.

What causes Ventral Hernia?

There are many factors responsible for the development of Ventral Hernia, namely:
